Will my ring fit on the carabiner pendant?

The small carabiner (sm) is perfect for thin or medium thickness rings, but is not ideal for thicker rings. If your ring is 0.5cm or thinner, you should not have a problem fitting your ring into a Ring Keeper with a small carabiner pendant.

If you have a ring that is thicker than 0.5cm, we recommend our medium (m) sized Ring Keepers, which have a slightly larger carabiner pendant. The medium (m) sized Ring Keeper will comfortably accommodate a ring with a thickness up to 0.8cm.

  • Note: depending on the carabiner colour and style, the outer coating may experience wear and scratching over time. We really enjoy this aesthetic as it fits our vibe (we like when things look used and loved). But, we understand that this aesthetic isn't for everyone! So, just keep that in mind. :)

Backstory

Clarke created the Ring Keeper because we needed a way of removing our rings throughout the day, without worrying about placing them in a pocket and forgetting about them or putting them down somewhere and losing them all together. He scoured the internet, but couldn't find what he was envisioning...so, he made one instead!

We put our rings on the Ring Keeper when we're working outside chopping wood, kneading dough, planting in the garden, washing dishes, playing disc gold, archery...basically we used the Ring Keeper for one reason or another every day.

The Ring Keeper is designed to be a durable accessory that fits into any lifestyle. It's super functional and it looks great with or without a ring on it.

Disclaimers:

Okay, the not fun part...we think Ring Keepers are super rad and truly helpful. We use our Ring Keepers almost every single day to hold our wedding rings, and we have never experienced the loss of a ring. We seriously love having these, both as an accessory and as a functional tool.

That being said, we cannot guarantee that the Ring Keeper will hold your ring securely and you should use your best judgement of when to wear and how to use your Ring Keeper. Additionally, if you are transporting or using the Ring Keeper to hold some priceless family heirloom or some stupid expensive piece of jewelery…maybe rethink that move. The Ring Keeper is rad, yes; but, we make no guarantees other than that we are always grateful for your purchase and you will be at least 37% cooler with a Ring Keeper.

And, another thing, when wearing the Ring Keeper as a necklace or bracelet (or anything else), it is important to always be mindful that you will have a loop of leather or paracord connected with knots around your neck or wrist (or wherever else). Leather and paracord can take up to 550 lbs (or more) of force to break. Additionally, you will also have a small metal carabiner connected to this leather or paracord on your person. So, when you are performing any activity that could, in any way, potentially result in injury to you or someone else, do not wear the Ring Keeper, or immediately take the Ring Keeper off of your person and stow it in a safe location.

Always use safe practices and your best judgment regarding your safety, the safety of others, and the safety of your valuables when wearing and/or using a Ring Keeper to look cool and/or hold your valuables (or other people's valuables)!
