Just reach out and let us know what it is you are looking to have made. We will do our very best to first understand your vision and then figure out if we are the best fit to create this special piece for you!

SHIPPING

When will my order be shipped?

Up until recently we lived a nomadic life. Currently, we are in a transition period, from life on the road to planting roots (litch-rally) on our forever homestead/farm property. For this reason, we have a few different methods for fulfilling and completing orders. 

Here’s how it works for each item:

Hoodies, Sweatshirts, and Totes:

Because we have been living on the road and have not been able to carry inventory in our truck camper, nor do we have a usable structure on our new homestead/farm property, we currently use a print-on-demand service that allows us to fulfill orders without holding inventory. 

This means that each item is printed/created once the order has been processed. The item is then shipped directly from the print-on-demand supplier designated to print and ship that item. So, it is possible that more than one print-on-demand supplier will be involved inside of one order if that order includes items designated to be printed and shipped from different print-on-demand suppliers.  

Note: Please know that every single piece of artwork or hilarious or inspiring (or ridiculous or lame) word that gets printed on the hoodies, sweatshirts, and/or totes was 100% created and designed by us: Chelsea, Clarke, or both of us collaboratively! 

If your hoodie, sweatshirt, or tote order is being shipped to a location in Canada:

• The order will be printed and shipped from a Canadian supplier.
• The order will be shipped within 4 - 10 business days.
• We utilize two different print-on-demand suppliers for orders shipped to a location in Canada.

If your hoodie, sweatshirt, or tote order is being shipped to a location in the United States:

• The order will be printed and shipped from a U.S. print-on-demand supplier, if possible. Note: We do our best to minimize additional costs (e.g., any tariffs or other import fees) by choosing suppliers located within the destination country.
• The order will be shipped within 7 - 20 business days.
  • And okay, yes - this sounds like a long time in today’s world; but, we are trying to embrace the idea of slowing down…and, we hope you will join us on this particular journey. Therefore, we truly hope the idea of something taking 7 - 20 business days to arrive at your door won’t deter you! And, while we are embracing the idea of slowing down, we will also hope and cross our fingers that your item always arrives sooner than expected!

Stickers, Artwork, Greeting Cards, and Hand-Crafted Goods:

These are the items in our shop that we create ourselves from start to finish, or smaller items, such as stickers, which we are able to have printed for us, but carry as in-stock inventory. 

That said, we are a husband and wife duo in the beginning stages of a completely new chapter in life. We are currently building our forever home and homestead in a new province, on an old farm that has not been lived on for over 20 years. And, our little piece of earth that we are currently working to make livable (and our home) is located in a very rural community, which means we designate time each week to fulfil orders and send shipments. So, with that in mind:

• We take a trip to our local, rural post office on Tuesdays or Wednesdays to ship orders.
• If you order custom artwork of any type, orders must be placed by Friday, in order to be shipped the following Tuesday or Wednesday.

Note: If you order a combination of items inside of one order, such as a hoodie (shipped by one of our print-on-demand suppliers) and a sticker (shipped by us directly), these items will be shipped separately and will likely arrive at different times. So, please do not be alarmed if you only receive one item in the first package from us!

To which countries does Olive & Blueberry’s Mercantile ship its cool sundries and provisions?

We currently only ship to Canada and the United States. We hope to expand this in the future, but, for now, we are keeping it simple. 

If you'd like us to ship to your country, we'd love to hear from you! We’d appreciate you sending us a note and telling us where you live because this information will help us know what area of the world we need to learn more about and we’ll work on getting you some cool Olive & Blueberry's Mercantile pieces. 

From where are Olive & Blueberry's Mercantile's sundries and provisions shipped?

As we are based in Canada, all of the Olive & Blueberry's Mercantile items shipped within Canada, are shipped from Canada.

If you are having items shipped to the United States, some of the pieces may be shipped from Canada and some pieces may be shipped from within the U.S.

We are still learning and trying to navigate all of the constantly changing and somewhat confusing international shipping and tariff rules as well as the limits and abilities of our suppliers and of the website platform we currently use to create and host Olive & Blueberry’s Mercantile. Therefore, as we learn more, we will update our shipping policies and pricing in hopes of creating the best possible experience for everyone involved. 

BOBBY’S DOODLES COLLECTION

Who is Bobby?

Bobby (aka: Bob) is Chelsea's dad! (You can learn more about Chelsea in Our Story). Bob is a very cool guy. He is also a very talented artist and maker. Bob has lived many lives, including: as an entrepreneur, heading his own soap making business; a fun, but no nonsense bar tender, as a triathlete; and as a personal trainer and Muay Thai Instructor (he even competed in the ring!). But, no matter what Bob was doing in the ring or elsewhere, he has always been an artist. Bob has a knack for drawing and painting (which must be where Chelsea picked up her artist talents). Most importantly, Bob is a kind and loveable soul.

Why was the Bobby's Doodles Collection created?

Sadly, in 2022, Bob was diagnosed with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), which has greatly impacted his quality of life. Bob’s particular type of ABI, brain lesions on his frontal lobe, significantly impacts personality characteristics, judgment and executive function, impulse control, and the ability to recognize emotions, among other debilitating effects. Since his diagnosis, Bob is no longer able to work or earn a living. 

Unfortunately, Bob has also lost the support of his partner, as his wife of 18 years initiated a legal separation, which has left Bob alone to support himself. Thankfully, Bob currently receives just enough income from disability to pay for rent and groceries, but only just. And, as Bob turns 65 this year (2026), his financial situation is expected to change drastically very soon. In addition to the financial concerns, he also spends a lot of time alone, which isn't ideal for anyone, but particularly not for someone with his condition.

Until recently, Chelsea and Clarke were living on the road in their truck camper, which has made it difficult to provide support to Bob in the way they would like to. However, having recently purchased land in Nova Scotia, upon which they will put down roots and build a home and homestead, their goal is to one day soon have a safe and supportive place for Bob.

The dream is to build Bob a comfortable place to live where he can be close to people who love him and who can support his needs directly. Also, with Bob on the homestead, he will also have a space where he can draw and paint and create again. 

This is the dream.

The Bobby's Doodles Collection was created as a way to provide some much needed financial support for Bob and to help make these dreams a reality. It is also the hope that this collection could one day grow to include more of Bob’s work and be a creative outlet and source of motivation and inspiration for him.

What kind of support do proceeds from the Bobby's Doodles Collection provide?

At the moment, Bob needs financial support for his basic needs such as: paying rent, groceries, and paying bills/outstanding debts. 

Additionally, financial support to help build Bob a modest dwelling on the homestead. We are thinking about a yurt! Then, financial support to help us move Bob and his things from Ontario to Nova Scotia.

Think of the Bobby's Doodles Collection as a fundraiser, but when you donate to this meaningful and impactful cause, you get something super cool in return!

What is the story behind the Bobby's Doodles Collection design?

The design for the Bobby's Doodles Collection is actually Bob's very own doodle! This very special doodle is how Bob used to sign his artwork, especially back in his high school days. Every time I see this design, I smile. :)

Can I donate directly to Bob without purchasing a product?

Absolutely! Chelsea created a GoFundMe where individuals can donate directly to Bob's support. Every dollar makes a difference and we have so much gratitude for any donations made. 100% of the donations made to Bob's GoFundMe will go directly to support Bob and his needs.
