Artwork back story:This Black-Capped Chickadee is part of a series in which I'm painting the official birds of Canada. Each province and territory is represented by an official bird, and the Black-Capped Chickadee is the official bird of New Brunswick.
Original artwork: Acrylic paint on paper. I completed this one in Irish Vale on Cape Breton Island. We named him Hanwell.
Materials: 50% cotton, 50% polyester, combining softness and lasting durability. (Note: dark heather and sport grey are 40% cotton, 60% polyester)
Care Instructions: Machine wash in cold water (max 30°C or 90°F). Tumble dry on low to medium heat. Do not dry-clean.
